The allure of islands is always mesmerizing, but the trip to Bali and Surabaya is indeed the first step of my life's adventure. The itinerary in Indonesia mostly involves leaving at dawn, sleeping in the afternoon, waking up at midnight, and endlessly rushing. Yet, after exhaustion, one can always appreciate the beautiful scenery that is indescribable in words. This journey for me is less like tourism and more like an adventure. Setting off at 3 a.m. to chase dolphins at sea and watching the sun slowly rise at the horizon, then returning to the hotel in the afternoon for some room service breakfast and a nap. In the evening, when the crowds have dispersed, walking to the beach in the darkness, all you can hear is the roaring waves, and all you can see is the endless white foam rushing towards you. The sensation of the tide carrying sand slipping through your fingers feels like being devoured by the world. In the distance, you can see the lively beach clubs partying, while you feel engulfed in silence. If you're not afraid, I really recommend going to the beach at midnight for a completely different experience. — Climbing the volcano in Surabaya, stepping on the slope full of volcanic ash, you can look up to see the starry sky. The coexistence of heaven and hell on earth truly makes Indonesia feel magical. Reaching the crater, you can smell the strong sulfur and hear the low roar of the earth, witnessing one of the only two blue fires in the world. Even if you're climbing the mountain for two hours on an empty stomach without enough sleep, it all feels worthwhile. — After going to Indonesia, I fell deeply in love with the world again. Traveling is really a wonderful thing. Only by visiting every corner of the world can one truly experience its magic. No words on the internet can describe the shock of seeing it with your own eyes. Life's bucket list—to travel the world.
