Beijing's spring is one of my favorite seasons. During March and April each year, peach blossoms, pear blossoms, crabapples, and lilacs bloom in succession, and the ancient capital of Beijing is filled with clusters of flowers and fragrant breezes. Among the many flower viewing spots, Yuyuantan Park is definitely one of the top destinations, and it is a famous place in Beijing for enjoying the cherry blossoms. - At the end of March and the beginning of April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the vast Yuyuantan Park is bustling with people, even on weekdays, the park is crowded with visitors. The pink cherry blossoms set against the tall Central Television Tower are like clouds and rosy skies, creating a unique scenery of Yuyuantan Park in spring. - There are many places to enjoy cherry blossoms in Yuyuantan Park, and the best cherry blossom viewing route is to enter from the west gate, where you are immediately greeted by large expanses of cherry blossom forests. The cherry trees here are quite tall, and it is best to take portraits from a low angle, which helps to avoid the surrounding crowds. - In Shui Yifang, Liying Feiyun, and Liuqiao Yingyue, there are also many cherry blossoms, and you can visit them one by one. After taking photos, you can cross the bridge and walk south towards the China Millennium Monument, and not far from the south gate, there are several cherry trees planted on a high platform, where you can take photos of people among the cherry blossoms! - Tips: 1. Yuyuantan Park has been crowded recently, so it's best to go early if you want to avoid the crowds. Some people go as early as 6 am to achieve an effect of having the place to themselves. 2. Because of the crowds, most of the scenes involve looking up at the trees, so it's best to choose a clear, sunny day to go, which will allow you to capture the cherry trees against a blue sky.
