DONG OH DANG

A fancy and luxurious accommodation is nice, but sometimes I want to sit on the back porch of a quiet hanok and look at the blue sky and have a quiet rest. This accommodation had just that kind of atmosphere! As I opened the door and went in, Dangdang, the mascot of Dong-oh-dang, ran out to greet me. Just looking at the wide yard and the hanok~ It was a place that naturally healed me. I was admiring the elegant exterior of the hanok, and a bird flew up to the roof and snapped a picture! When I opened the door, I was impressed by the light pink flowers, the stone pagoda of Bunhwangsa Temple, and the Gyeongju-style welcome cookie in the shape of Cheomseongdae◇②. The bedroom, bathroom, and all the spaces were really clean. This pension is run by a married couple, and when they first built Dong-oh-dang, they dug up the yard and found a lot of stone names, so the owners built the wall of Dong-oh-dang themselves with those stones. There was no place that they didn't touch, including the pergola, barbecue area, and my favorite space, the garden bookshelf.
