The Taj Mahal of Cebu

This is the Temple of Leah, a Roman-inspired architectural temple located in Barangay Busan in Cebu City, Philippines. The story behind this temple is fascinating. Teodorico Soriano Adarna had the temple built for his late wife Leah Albino Adarna, the grandmother of Filipina actress Ellen Adarna. According to the actress, the temple was not built to be a tourist spot but a storage for her grandmother's things. But since the view from up there is nice, they made it open for public. Fare is around P40. Then take a 04D, 041 or 04H (Lahug-Busay) jeepney from downtown Cebu City, the fare is less than P20 per person; get off at the street to Temple Leah, and walk for 5 minutes to the site.
