Czech Treasure: Český Krumlov

From Prague, it takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes to 3 hours to reach Český Krumlov by FlixBus or RegioJet bus. The buses are equipped with snacks and restrooms, making the journey comfortable. Time flies when you bring along some snacks to enjoy on the way! I spent the trip alternating between eating and napping, and it was delightful. 😄 The day we visited happened to be a holiday, so not many shops were open. However, the town itself was so beautiful that we didn’t feel the lack of open stores. The charming buildings and the river created a fairytale-like scenery that was absolutely captivating. Every spot was picture-perfect, guaranteeing Instagram-worthy shots! 📸 Český Krumlov is a medieval town established in the 13th century and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Notably, the Český Krumlov Castle is the second largest in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle. Climbing up the castle tower offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire town. Additionally, you can enjoy kayaking or boating along the Vltava River. Latrán Street is lined with souvenir shops and restaurants where you can savor local cuisine. Don’t miss the Cloak Bridge and the Castle Gardens, which are also must-visit attractions! Český Krumlov is truly a place worth visiting at least once. Next time, I’d love to go on a sunny day and leisurely enjoy the town’s scenery from a cozy café.
