#State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Czech town is worth a visit 🔆 So beautiful it will make you cry
|♨️The Czech town of Český Krumlov is well-deservedly known as one of the most beautiful towns in the world. This small town, with only 14,100 residents, is located in the Bohemian region of southern Czech Republic, upstream of the Vltava River, about 160 kilometers from the Czech capital, Prague.
♨️The deep blue sky and the gentle white clouds make the town dreamlike. You can see the panoramic view of Krumlov city by going up to Krumlov Castle. Explore the various Czech puppets in the Puppet Museum. The Gothic St. Vitus Church, built in 1439 and named after the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, is one of the landmarks of Krumlov.
♨️Krumlov can be casually walked around in no more than three hours. However, the terrain here is undulating, with mountains and water, and walking among these romantic buildings that have stood for centuries, the dreamy temperament felt is hard to describe. This small town is a pure and beautiful haven in the restless world.
🔆Château de Versailles
Built in 1204, the William Castle is the largest castle in the Bohemian region outside of Prague Castle. It has stood in Český Krumlov for nearly a thousand years and is incredibly impressive.
🔆St. Vitus Cathedral
St. Vitus Cathedral is the oldest and largest church in Krumlov, Czech Republic, built in the early 14th century as a place of worship for the local people. The architectural style of the church is mainly Gothic, with a fusion of Baroque style. It stands on the banks of the Vltava River, with its spires towering into the clouds, making it a magnificent sight.
🔆Czech beer
When you come to Czech Republic, be sure to taste the local beer. Although German beer is well-known, Czech people are actually the ones who love beer the most, so the beer here is also worth a try.

Czech CK Town | Feasting in the fairy-tale Czech town
Feasting in the fairy-tale Czech town. My first impression of Prague was the song by Jolin Tsai, but after arriving, I found that the imagined square, pigeons, and wishing well were all missing, haha.
Prague's old town is crowded with tourists, classic European cobblestone streets and trams. In the old town, we mainly walked around to sightsee and taste the local cuisine. (Displayed on the last three pages) My favorite dish is the pork sauerkraut dumplings. Yes, translated as dumplings, but actually, the skin is very thick, and they are filled with a variety of fillings, even fruit. Hot spiced wine is also a classic in Europe, and it's very warming to drink. The cost of living in Prague is very friendly in Europe, and our group of nine people feasted. In the end, the owner gave us a wooden box filled with candy, and it was only after leaving the store that we realized it might have been for tips...
On the last day, we went to the town of Český Krumlov, commonly known as CK Town, one of the top ten beautiful towns in Europe. Departing from Prague by bus, it takes just over two hours to get there. The town is surrounded by a river, and the colorful houses look like a fairy-tale island from a distance. Inside, there are many specialty shops, and a small castle to visit.
It was a very pleasant journey

Krumlov, a dreamy town surrounded by mountains and rivers
Krumlov, an ancient town in South Bohemia, is about 180 kilometers away from the capital Prague, which also nestles on the Vltava River. In Czech, the literal meaning of Krumlov is 'shoal in the river bend', which vividly describes the environmental characteristics of this mini ancient town. The Vltava River bends in a U-shape here, and the center of the U-shape, or the ancient town area surrounded by the river, is filled with historical buildings dating back to the 14th century; on the hills outside the U-shape, there is Krumlov Castle, second only to Prague Castle in scale, and the castle garden. Krumlov has a kind of beauty that is so rich that it cannot be diluted, with beautiful scenes everywhere. If you stay in a small guest house by the river for a night, it would be even better - the window of your room is likely to be a painting; on your pillow, the murmuring sound of the Vltava River will enter your dream...

Prague Surrounding Tour - CK Town and KH Town
CK Town, full name Český Krumlov, is a castle town in Czech Republic, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, like a world coming out of a comic book.
Starting from Prague, I chose the Regio Jet bus and bought tickets directly from their official website. There are discounts for advance booking, and the ticket price is around 15-18 euros. The journey takes about 3 hours. Be sure to pay attention to the location of your hotel. I got off at the wrong stop because there are two parking spots (AN and Spicak) in CK town. Fortunately, the two stops are not far apart, but dragging luggage on the cobblestone streets in the town is a bit of a challenge.
If you have time, be sure to stay in the town for a night. In the evening, there are not so many tourists, surrounded by the river, peaceful and comfortable. You can also say good morning to two bears if you get up early!
It is recommended to make an appointment in advance for the tour and explanation of Krivoklat Castle. If you make a late appointment, only Czech language explanations will be available, but an English guidebook will be provided for you to follow along. You don't need to do anything here, even just quietly daydreaming will make you feel the beauty of time passing by...
Recommended restaurant: Krcma v Satlavske Ulici cave restaurant, bread onion soup and grilled ribs are really good👍, remember to drink the onion soup quickly, otherwise the bread will drink it up. The black beer is so delicious!
KH Town Kutná Hora - Central Bohemia (KUTNA HORA) is recommended to take a train from Prague Central Station (Praha hl.n) and walk a short distance to the attraction after arrival, or take a taxi. Remember to buy a ticket at the tourist center first, which is more cost-effective! The Bone Church is really shocking, but also very oppressive. St. Barbara's Church and The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist are all included! The whole town is very small and can be visited as a day trip from Prague.
Recommended restaurant Pivnice Dacicky. They have 6 flavors of craft beer, which is quite tasty.

CK - Small Town Story
Krumlov is another must-see in the Czech Republic, located in the southern part of the three-hour drive from Prague. In this 17th-century medieval town, a medieval-style castle stands like a fairyland. The extremely daring hilltop castle tells the story of the famous European family and the dignitaries.
Krumlov has the most magnificent old town in Europe. The town is small in size. It is best to stay there for one night and enjoy the old town in the night. The quiet medieval town under the night and the crowded towns of the daytime visitors give a very different feeling. It is also a good feeling to choose a riverside restaurant cafe or bar. The
town centre is small and separated by an anti-S-type river called the Voltava River, which continues north to Prague. The castle is built on the hilltop of the town's cape and can be seen on the painted tower overlooking the town.
I recommend staying here for one night, from the early morning to the sun, experience the life of the town. At sunset, sample local delicacies and enjoy a glass of wine on the Vltava River

Cesky Krumlov Castle, shooting the town postcard angle
Hill of Krumlov Castle lucky to escape the turmoil of the past wars, was preserved intact. It is also the only place in the town that can be called a scenic spot. We did not choose to enter the castle, but boarded the observation deck of the castle garden. The unanimous evaluation of CK Castle on the Internet is that the internal quality is not high, so I have not recommended spending money to visit the other castles in Europe.
Before coming to the real observation deck, there is a small balcony on the side of the road that overlooks the entire town. This angle is very popular, and sometimes you even need to line up. In the mountains, you can also see this small balcony that stands forever.
Along the path, there are many different sizes, and the blink of the eye on the wall is a postcard perspective to see the panorama of the town. Looking down on this small town divided into two parts by the U-shaped river bay, the imagination of the past is always intertwined with the scenery in front of you. The red roofs that are swayed by the sun are scattered on the banks of the Vltava River. Not only is the town of CK, but the houses on the outskirts of the town are also charming like fairy tales. The bohemian romance is interpreted here to the extreme.
pm is the time when the castle's observation deck has the most visitors. The last wave of tour groups has not left, the next wave is coming again, you will never guess how difficult the shooting environment we encountered. Feeling more suitable for shooting scenery, the field of vision is indeed very invincible, with a telephoto end can also shoot small villages in the distant mountains. If you want to take a good portrait, you will only have a peak shot one morning and one night; therefore, it is necessary to stay overnight to avoid the peak.

A fairytale town in Central Europe | Czech Krumlov exclusive seats
If you missed CK, probably regret for life! This small Czech town is different from the bustling Prague, but the small river of Horseshoe Bay surrounds the town, and the four seasons are beautiful and suffocating. The second CK line, compared with late autumn, the summer CK is more lovely.
Three years ago in the rain, pulling the box to catch the bus CK experience
three years after the summer afternoon Vltava slow CK experience
I believe I will come back here
CKDream list:
The top painted tower overlooks the town
A kayak trip on the Futava River

Before I came to the small town of Krumlov in the Czech Republic (also known as the town of CK), I did not think that there was a place that could be defined as a "fairy tale" from the first sight.
is surrounded by the Czech mother's "Voice River" Vltava, and has been watched by those in power for more than five centuries. The medieval style is completely preserved in the old town center of CK town. . Green trees, gray walls, red tops, spires, bell towers, bridges, statues, small landscapes are scattered.
Not finished yet, the Krumlov Castle, the highest point in the town, and the St. Vitus Cathedral, which is a combination of Gothic and Baroque on the Vltava River, presents a luxurious scale. The imposing manner, magnificent architecture, precious art collections, waiting for visitors.
In the center of the town, the youngest building has a hundred years of history. Well, UNESCO has listed it here as a World Heritage Site. I have included it here as a city of medieval representation in my heart.
Do you worry that the quiet ancient city will lack the cumbersome and lively life? Walk into the town, the roast duck legs in the restaurant's signature menu, the flower shop at the corner, the handicraft stalls at the square market, rustic and true.

The houses in the small town of CK in the Czech Republic do not look the same. Just look at the doorway and window of each store. It is enough for you to spend most of the day. The store must have loved life and can arrange these ancient and chic pieces. . Most of the tourists of
CK are with the group. They usually only stay for 3 or 4 hours. It is purely a sight to be seen. During the daytime, a large number of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and European and American tourists will awaken the silence of the town. The towers of the old castle will also be crowded with photographed, scenic, dazed and awkward outsiders.
So we chose to stay in the town for two nights and stretch the three-hour trip to three days. In this way, when the glitz fades, you can have a feeling of strolling through the medieval stone roads of the town, slowly savoring the passage of time and feeling the eighteenth century Europe.
Enjoyourtrip.
Cesky Krumlov Castle is the second largest castle in the Czech Republic. We follow the winding path and walk slowly towards the distant sign, the castle. Under the tower of the castle
is a museum and library, as well as a place to buy tickets to the tower.
There is only 50 kr. of the ticket to the tower, compared to Vienna, it is also very good value, perfect height, perfect vision!
Layered clouds and gentle breeze make this dreamy and breathtaking. Looking far and wide, the distance is boundless green mountains and green waters; between the rolling feet, the undulating rivers connect the ancient houses of Bohemia into a patch of red sea, all of which give people a feeling of being separated. . On the streets, the endless stream of tourists, as well as the bohemians who walked by, brought this quaint town alive. All of this makes people feel that at this moment it is not in the painting, but in the real life.
Latin and Old German "Krumlov" are all represented by this land, meaning "high and low grass", referring to the winding grass or the waterside, just depicting Vol. The Tawa River waterway is surrounded by the geography of the land.
After we got down from the tower, we followed the hills of the castle and admired the beautiful town.
This is a medieval castle built in 1240.

If there is enough time, I am willing to watch the scenery for a long time here, watching the stream under the bridge quietly passing, watching the sky in the distance gradually revealing from the thick clouds, watching the people in the town come and go. This platform went up again in the castle. We didn't look at it when we first came. The focus was on viewing for free. However, it is worth mentioning that if you want to take photos of no one, be sure to catch up early. We arrived here almost at nine o'clock. At about ten o'clock, we started to have a tour group, so it would be more difficult to make a satisfactory photo.
Jojos trip.
If you want to ask the town with the highest value in the world or the town with the highest value in Europe, it is estimated that many people will answer the small town of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. People who have been to the city will feel the town. Beauty is like a fairy tale, and hate can't live in such a fairy tale world. What's even more amazing is that visiting such a fairy tale town does not require buying tickets. This practice has long been common in Europe, but if you put the town in China, it is estimated that you will be charged for the layers of the ticket, and the price of the ticket is absolutely It is high and scary.
Krumlov town is also known as CK town, after all, Krumlov is too sloppy, it is difficult for Chinese tourists to remember, and CK town is very good to remember . The town of CK is a charming town in the southern Bohemian region of the Czech Republic and one of the most beautiful towns in the world. CK Town was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1992. The town of
is located on the upper reaches of the Vltava River, about 160 km from Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The town is surrounded by the horseshoe-shaped, wide Vltava River, and the famous castle is built on the other side of the river. Ascending the distance, the medieval city with the castle as its center is boundless and amazing.
The town of CK is full of people during the day. Many domestic travel circles are walking in the streets and lanes. It is a bit of a bad feeling, but in the evening, when the tourists leave, the town will reply to its calm. This time CK town is my favorite. Therefore, if time permits, it is recommended to stay in the town for a few days and feel the quiet time.

The Krumlov Castle is divided into the highest tower, the castle museum, the interior of the castle, and the Baroque Opera. The four parts are bought separately and there are also tickets. The ticket for the
up tower is bought under the tower. It can be seen with a wooden staircase and there is a cabinet for the package. The tower does not have an elevator, you have to climb it yourself. Tower tickets and museum tickets can be bought separately or together. The museum display is exquisite, completely restored the original furniture display, going to go! !
The inside of the castle can't be photographed. The original Baroque display of the Aigenburg family was preserved. Even in the hostess's room, the flowers will be replaced every day, just like the castle still has people living... ...the Rococo-style ballroom is also very interesting, in short, the most worthwhile place to visit in the whole CK town.
Coco Wang.
The castle is overlooking the town of ck. There are two places to go. When I went up, I went from the small road outside the town. When I came down, I found another way in the town.
From the road outside the town, you can go to the castle. You are looking for a way based on your own feelings. There is no road sign. You have not encountered anyone on the path outside the town. The
dense red roof house is really fantastic, and it can be said to be a representative building in Eastern Europe. The castle of the town of
ck has Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and there are plenty of sculptures and murals outside the building, and the tower can also be up.
YIYI NOTES.
Krumlov, also known as the CK town, is located on the banks of the Vltava River and is a small town that has been unfolded because of a castle. On both sides of the river, houses with local characteristics are arranged in a row, along with the urban elements of the city, and the late Gothic and Renaissance styles are combined with the Baroque elements to form a harmonious and rich whole. There are towering towers in the castle, and the tower overlooks the entire town, but the best view of the small town is not the top of the tower, but the hill that has been moving forward from the tower.
If you just visit the small town, you don't need to collect tickets. The ticket to the tower is 100 kr. per person
tour time suggestion: half a day
Jojos trip.
Krumnov Castle is an attraction not to be missed in the town of CK. From the third courtyard to the castle garden, there are several viewing platforms in succession, which are all good photography spots. The red tiled yellow wall in the city is surrounded by mountains outside the city. No matter where you can see the beautiful scenery, people will never forget. There are many arched bridge holes on the bridge, overlooking the CK town through the bridge. The Vltava River is surrounded by an omega-shaped turn, and the old town is surrounded by green water. The orange-red patchwork roof, the distant white clouds and blue mountains and mountains, the red tiles and yellow walls, the blue sky and white clouds, the steeple church, the countless red roofs and the green hills in the distance, is a fairytale landscape.

Finally, I have a heart-to-heart CK town. This is the most beautiful fairy tale town in the world. The medieval architecture is well preserved. Walking in the town, there is a feeling of crossing time and space~
as a travel photographer. Today, we recommend the most beautiful spots and photographs in CK Town:
1. It is recommended to play from the castle from the top to the bottom. Figure 23 is the most classic shooting angle. There is a row of arched bridge holes in the observation deck of the castle. You can bridge the hole and view the scene. The specific shooting method is shown in Figure 9. You didn't expect the bridge hole to be so small~
2. Figure 4 Continue from the bridge hole view point, you will come to the perfect place overlooking the town, where you can sit on the table. Take a photo with the town, the table is a bit high, you must pay attention to safety when taking pictures.
3. The shooting angle of Figure 5 is in the old Renaissance wall in the castle. The photo is very beautiful! Just a shot is a blockbuster ~
4. Figure 6 is also in the castle, we arrived at around 10 in the morning, this time the light just spilled from the window, the tourists will not be particularly large, so I took a picture I am very satisfied with the very oil painting photos ~
5. Figure 1 The shooting point is also located in the castle down the observation deck that can see the panoramic view of the town, in fact, is a small small terrace that can go out It is easy to miss if you don't pay attention.
6. Location of Figure 78: Go through the Old Town Square and go in the opposite direction to the castle. You will come to a large platform where you can see the cylindrical painted tower of the castle. It should be said to be the most classic photo angle. How to shoot is good-looking.
