This time I will introduce a very famous temple attraction in Qamdo: Zizu Temple. Like a majestic guardian, Zizhu Monastery stands majestically on the top of Zizhu Mountain in Dingqing County, Qamdo, Tibet, at an altitude of 4,800 meters. It is one of the highest monasteries in Tibet. In Tibetan, "Zizhu" means six peaks. The main hall, scripture hall and caves for meditation are cleverly distributed on these six peaks, staggered in height and majestic. From right to left, the six peaks are Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Peak, Immaculate Crystal Peak, Visibility Emptiness Peak, Perfection Satisfaction Peak, Eternal Yongzhong Peak and Extremely Large Summit Peak. They are either steep and tall, or beautiful and dignified, each with its own characteristics. Among them, the Ruyi Treasure Peak, which symbolizes Guanyin Bodhisattva, has a self-evident Buddha statue inside the mountain. Most Tibetans circumambulate the mountain with a pious heart, praying for peace and harmony. There is a huge hole in the middle of the Visibility Emptiness Peak. Climbing up here along the winding mountain road, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Zizhu Temple.
