The Martyrs' Cemetery of the Qingfengdian Campaign

Located in the village of Xinanhe, southwest of Dingzhou City, the Martyrs' Cemetery of the Qingfengdian Campaign is situated to the east of the village of Xinanhe in Liuzao Town, Dingzhou City. In September 1948, to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives gloriously in the Qingfengdian Campaign, the Ding County Committee and the County People's Government decided to build a martyrs' cemetery in Xinanhe Village, where the battle took place. The main gate of the cemetery faces north and is surrounded by a wall of uniform blue bricks. Inside the garden, there are more than 70 rows of cypress and pine trees, tall and green, towering over the walls. The memorial pavilion in the cemetery is built in an ancient style with six columns and flying eaves. Inside the pavilion stands a monument, with the four large characters 'Yanzhao Yifeng' inscribed at the top, and 'A Brief Record of the Great Victory at Qingfengdian' engraved on the stone.
