Dali Erhai Lake Two-Day Tour (Relaxed Vacation Edition)!!!

Dali Two-Day Tour Guide Originally planned to spend one day on the west side and one day on the east side of the lake, but due to the long distance requiring special forces to travel, and considering that there isn't much difference between the two sides, as both sides of Erhai Lake are beautiful, we ended up spending both days on the west side. ●Day1 Xizhou Ancient Town - Erhai Lake - S Bay - Cai Village Took a taxi to Xizhou Ancient Town. The town is not big, with lots of clothing stores and snacks. Walk straight to the end and turn left to see the wheat fields. Sat for a long time at the Wheat Field Coffee next to it, then strolled around the ancient town for a while, found an electric tricycle for ten yuan to take us to the lakeside, where we each scanned a shared bike to start cycling around Erhai Lake, it's so beautiful! (Many guides will suggest renting an electric bike, but be aware that the electric bikes from outside cannot enter the lakeside, there are also beautiful bicycles with flower baskets, but they must be returned to the original place, so we chose shared bikes, which can be returned anywhere within the Erhai Lake operation area) Day2 Erhai Xin Di Coffee Originally planned to go to the east side of the lake the next day (to places like Shuanglang Ancient Town), but it's really too far! It takes more than an hour by taxi, and even longer by public transport. In the end, we gave up and still chose to stay on the west side, went to the popular Xin Di Coffee, it's really beautiful! And the coffee and desserts taste great, just need to come early, after two o'clock the place gets crowded, almost full. Strolled around Dali Ancient Town at night, it felt very commercial, not much different from other commercial districts, so didn't spend much time there. About Eating: There are many snacks in Dali Ancient Town, I ate a lot of cheap strawberries and blueberries haha Definitely recommend Gold Rose, a small kebab shop, the chicken and beef are so delicious! Tried the wild mushroom hotpot, really, I'm not very used to the taste of mushrooms~ but the soup is very fragrant About Accommodation: Chose a newly opened place, everything in the room is very new, had a great experience About Transportation: Many guides recommend renting electric bikes, mainly because I wanted to ride along the lakeside, so I mostly took taxis, the prices within the west side are okay, just that cycling around Erhai Lake for a long time will make your butt numb~ Warm Tips The wind in Dali is really strong!! Even stronger by the lake! Be sure to do good sun protection and hydration, I put on a face mask every night, and my nose was bleeding every day
