The ancient post road tells the past... This Jiming Post City is a post station relic from the Ming Dynasty. It is the largest post station in the surrounding area of Beijing and the best preserved one. It has now been listed as a World Endangered Heritage. Surprisingly, there are few tourists here. Apart from a few accommodations and restaurants, there is not much commercialization. Now it feels more like an old village. You can visit each one. The following main buildings are recommended: ✔️He's Courtyard The most famous "He's Courtyard" in the post station was once the place where Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu took refuge. To this day, the gable of the second courtyard still has the carved brick "Hongxi Jiefu" four regular script characters as a memorial to Empress Dowager Cixi's residence here. ✔️Mount Tai Temple The Mount Tai Temple, built in the 8th year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, has a history of more than 300 years, but the murals in the temple are still clear and the layered painting effect is shocking. ✔️Post Culture Themed Post Office ✔️Pudu Temple 🏠ABOUT【Accommodation】 The chosen accommodation is only a 10-minute drive away at the Arcadia International Hotel.
