#timetotravel We booked a guided half day tour with the local operator Tnktravel. Will definitely recommend booking a guided tour because you will be lost without explanations and travelling to Cu Chi Tunnel itself takes around 2 hours. Given the name Cu Chi Tunnel, the main attraction is most definitely the tunnel. There are tunnels of different lengths for tourists to attempt, from 5 metre to 100 metre. I am personally not that big, and not generally claustrophobic, so I managed to go through the tunnel with no issues. But so be warned, if you are bigger and have joint issues, you might have difficult going through the tunnel because you have to be a constant squatting position!! Thanks to our guide Patrick, as well as the interactive element of the Cu Chi Tunnel (walking through the tunnel, visiting the different bunkers and looking at the different traps Vietnamese soldiers used to set targeting the American soldiers), we learned so much about the history of the Vietnam war from the Vietnamese perspective and the intelligence and hard work of Vietnamese soldiers. #history #境外遊 #vietnam #hochiminh #timetotravel
