"Po Lin” means precious lotus. Po Lin Monastery is a Buddhist monastery located in Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is one of the Hong Kong’s most popular Buddhist temples, located just a short walking distance from the iconic Giant Buddha “Tian Tan Buddha”, one of the world’s largest bronze statues of the sitting Buddha. The architecture is stunning, with a spectacular view high on the mountain. It has a 3-storey exhibition hall display the history of the temple, a meditation hall, an abbot’s chamber, and many more nice buildings. You can have your vegetarian lunch at Po Lin Monastery, the restaurant opens from 11:30am to 4:30pm. The price is reasonable, and the vegetarian dishes are delicious. How To Get There: The easiest way is taking Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Opening Hours: 9am to 6pm. Sun – Sat 7:30am to 6pm. Ambience/Facilities: 10/10 Rating: 5/5
