Four Seasons Hotel Staycation

Although the epidemic has taken away a lot from us, if we look at it optimistically, it has also created many opportunities that we didn't have before, such as forcing us to explore secret spots all over Hong Kong, or staying at the Four Seasons Hotel for less than $2,000 a night and getting an afternoon tea set for two! I have always loved Four Seasons' scones, so the most attractive thing about this staycation plan is probably the tea set that comes with it, which costs more than 600 yuan if purchased alone. Tea set can be enjoyed in The lounge or taken away. I chose to take it back to my room when I arrived. Because it was for two and there were two sisters eating together, we specially ordered the limited-time pandan egg tarts and Portuguese egg tarts online in advance. They are only $15 each and the taste is really superb~ Then I found that the two sisters were more interested in the tea set lid and played with it crazily in the room for half a day! While we were having tea, the staff presented the children with a welcome amenity, which was a super cute DIY Icing cookie, and two plates of “Good night cookies” with their names written on them! It turns out that the four seasons are really super kid-friendly~ When checking in, each child first received a bag of craft supplies and game paper. In the room, there was also a puzzle, a doll note pad and a pencil. The DIY cookie was really unforgettable for the children. In addition, because we requested a baby bed when booking the room, without making any additional requests, we saw an instant water kettle on the table in the room, a trash can for diapers in the bathroom, a set of baby products including diapers, children's toothbrushes, etc., which showed the hotel's caring and meticulous preparations. After talking about the extra arrangements for the kids, we have to talk about what the most regular inclusions in the hotel room are ~ Loccitane for bathing Amenity, Evian mineral water in glass bottles for Complimentary water, welcome fruit plate, Nespresso coffee machine... And after downloading the Four Seasons app, you can chat with the staff to deliver water at any time, which is very convenient~ The mountain view room we stayed in overlooked the bustling Central city. Watching the sunset or the lights of the buildings at night also provided a beautiful city view. Because there was a little space in front of the hotel, the buildings did not feel too oppressive, and it also allowed us who lived on the mountain to see the typical appearance of Hong Kong city. The room is 45 square meters, which is quite large for a common room in Central. A two-bed room plus a baby room is not too crowded. As for dinner, since dine-in at night is still banned, I planned to go to IFC Citysuper to buy ready-to-eat seafood and cooked food takeaway. Since I couldn't buy drinks after buying a dozen oysters, I simply bought white wine and drinks through Deliveroo. After eating and resting, the two sisters had fun playing in the water in the bathtub! Although the swimming pool was closed, the staff strongly recommended going to the Pool side terrace on the 6th floor. The Infinity pool was really attractive! (So did the staff plan to lure us back next time?) There were no diners in the morning, and the staff took the initiative to help us take photos~ For breakfast, you can choose to have breakfast set in The lounge, have it delivered to your room, or have a buffet breakfast in the Grand ball room. Because the room includes breakfast for two, I chose Buffet breakfast to avoid the two sisters eating it all. There aren't many types of food, but they cater to Chinese, Western and Japanese cuisines. There's a lot of space between the tables in the grand ball room, and it's quite relaxing looking out at the sea view. It was already 11 o'clock when I had my fill. As I still had a plate of DIY cookies to make, I requested late check-out on the App. Unfortunately, it was quite full and I could only delay it by half an hour to 12:30pm. Every staff member I met at Four Seasons was friendly and polite. The replies were also very fast when contacting via the app. I really felt recharged after the staycation! Although many facilities need to be closed, the hotel really tries to arrange other activities for every guest. I used the Sun Hung Kai Properties app The Point points + $1980 to stay at this staycation. If you don’t have points, you can also consider offers from travel platforms. #staycation #LocalTourism#Good Places for Families#hotelcation#Good Places for Families Lazy Package
