#istanbultrip One of the best ways to get a quick introduction to the Turkish cuisine is through a good tasting menu, and that’s exactly what we got. Honestly, the menus here are good and the price is still better than some other famous places in Istanbul. I must say the appetizers were my favorites! Truly delicious and beautiful. I especially enjoyed the wild zatar salad and the olives with pomegranate mix, they were awesome 🤩 The main dishes for me were slightly disappointing. You can’t choose for example to get fish instead of meat ( I would have loved to get one fish or chicken option) instead we got two beef and one lamb ( the other tasting menu had two lamb options) I don’t eat lamb and the beef dish was waaay to oily, just as the beans which are cooked in butter. This type of food unfortunately is very unhealthy and bad if you have stomach issues or high cholesterol. But the taste was good. The dinner for 3 ppl ended up being around 5000 liras. The ambience of the restaurant was good. Even the bathroom was stunning and very well taken care of. Nice place for family time or a date night. The service was attentive but some jokes of the waiter were really inappropriate and he didn’t listen to what we were trying to ask and kept talking over trying to make us order what he thought was right.
