Never-ending Trails of Torii Gates! ⛩

Fushimi Inari Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in southern Kyoto which is famous for its trails of thousands of orange torii gates. All the torii gates are donated by individuals or companies and you can see the donor’s name written on each gate. While many tourists come to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine to explore these never-ending trails of torii gates, there are several shrine buildings in the compound that are really photogenic and worth exploring too! At the shrine’s main hall, you can pay your respects to the resident deity by making a small offering. This shrine is easily accessible by train as it is conveniently located right next to Inari Station on the JR Nara Line.
