Dinner at Kyoto Restaurant 'Ouchi Kappo Aya Tomi'

I went to have dinner at the Japanese restaurant 'Ouchi Kappo Aya Tomi', which is a 7-minute walk from Shijo Station in Kyoto. The interior features a counter, tables, and horigotatsu (sunken kotatsu), all within a wooden structure that exudes a traditional Kyoto atmosphere. It was spacious and allowed for a leisurely dining experience. The menu changes with the seasons, and this time we enjoyed simmered eggplant, stewed thick fried tofu, assorted sashimi, matsutake mushroom dobinmushi, and mackerel sushi. The sashimi was fresh and had a great texture, making it very delicious. The dobinmushi had a wonderful broth, and every dish we tried was highly satisfying.
