Travelogue of Zongjiao Lukang Park in Lhasa

Zongjiao Lukang Park, the name might be unfamiliar, but its location is well-known, located at the foot of the mountain on the east side of the Potala Palace. This is one of the famous gardens in Lhasa. Zongjiao Lukang in Tibetan means the Dragon God Temple behind the palace. There is a clear pond in the park. When the weather is clear, the majestic figure of the Potala Palace is reflected in the water, outlining a beautiful picture. This place used to be a place for a few nobles in Lhasa to play, and ordinary people could not enter. Now it has been turned into a park, and everyone can visit it freely. The hexagonal pavilion in the center of the park is a typical Tibetan-style building, with white walls as the base and a yellow pointed roof. The hexagonal pavilion is the focus of the entire vision, complementing the Potala Palace behind it, with clear levels. The winter in Lhasa is not very cold, and migratory birds fly here to avoid the cold every year. They can be seen chasing and playing in the pond in the park, becoming a beautiful scenery in Lhasa. Not far from the pond, there are willow forests common in the north, with various shapes. The posture of the willow tree is graceful, and it is even more soft on the shore. Zongjiao Lukang Park is another perspective to appreciate the Potala Palace, and it is an excellent choice to shoot the reflection of the Potala Palace in the water.
