Drepung Monastery Travel Guide

🌠Drepung Monastery is located at the foot of Mount Gambo Utse in the west of Lhasa. It was built in 1416 by Jamyang Chojey, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. Together with Ganden Monastery and Sera Monastery, it is one of the three great monasteries of Lhasa. The magnificent buildings are built on the mountain, looking like a mountain city from afar.
