Visit Xiaoqikong during the off-season! It's so wonderful

Originally, I thought it would take a whole day to tour Xiaoqikong! Not wanting to wake up early to catch the high-speed train, I arrived at Libo the night before! It's a five-minute walk from the accommodation to the east gate of the scenic area! ‼️However! Recently, during the off-season, if you're like me and just want to see the green waters, there's really no need to stay overnight in advance! It's fine to arrive at Libo by high-speed train at noon! It's only a 15-minute drive from Libo station to the scenic area! Very convenient! -Travel guides all say it's easier to enter from the west gate~ We were closer to the east gate and wanted to take the sightseeing bus from the east gate to the west gate! But it's only available before 10 am!! We missed it, so we still took the bus from the east gate to the Xiaoqikong Bridge! First, we visited the Xiaoqikong Bridge! The green waters are really healing! Then we took the sightseeing bus from Xiaoqikong Bridge to the west gate! Then we changed buses to go to Wolongtan! The mountain road is quite long, and I dozed off for a while... We hardly walked at all. The highlight is Wolongtan! Absolutely beautiful! The purpose of this trip to Xiaoqikong was to see the water at Wolongtan! It reminded me of the colorful pools in Jiuzhaigou~ Very beautiful! And it was sunny on Monday when we went! The water was even bluer! And there were very few people! The advantage of traveling during the off-season is the smaller crowds! Wolongtan is currently only open to the elderly route! The young people's route is closed! 📝The scenic area automatically selects the easy mode for you! Not tiring at all! After Wolongtan, we took the sightseeing bus to Mandarin Duck Lake and Emerald Valley Waterfall. It's the dry season now, so the water level is low and the boating activity is closed. There's nothing to see or do. During the peak season, it's said that you can boat for an hour~ Next to Mandarin Duck Lake, there's a cave where you can see stalactites... It costs an additional 8 yuan per person~ I'm not interested in rocks, so I didn't go in. Moving on to Emerald Valley Waterfall~ As soon as we got off the bus, it didn't seem worth the visit and there was a bit of a walk. Since I mainly came for Wolongtan! To see the blue and green waters! So I turned around and left~ Took the bus back to the east gate to end this trip! I didn't walk much on this trip! Whether entering from the east gate or the west gate, the travel strategies are the same for me. Mainly took the bus! Not very tiring! So! For those who come during the off-season to see the green waters and don't like walking! Two hours is enough!!
