Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel ‖ The choice for cost-effective luxury in Taipa

With the changing times, more and more tourists are coming, and the days when you could stay in a star-rated hotel for just a few hundred dollars are gone. Taipa, as a gathering place of 'three people' (The Londoner Macao + The Parisian Macao + The Venetian Macao), is lined with star-rated hotels, and among them, I believe, is this Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel. 📍Location- The Sheraton Macao is located right next to The Londoner Macao, opposite the Four Seasons Shop, and just a street away from Studio City. The other two 'people' are also within a 10-minute walk, and there is a direct bus to Rua do Cunha in front of the hotel, making the location very convenient. 🚌Transportation Guide- This time I entered from the Taipa Ferry Terminal. After leaving the terminal, walk to the right for about 5 minutes to reach the boarding point for the shuttle bus, find the shuttle to The Londoner Macao, and it will take you directly to the hotel lobby. ⭐Highlights- The hotel matches the exterior of The Londoner Macao, adopting a British castle style. Entering the hotel, you can feel its grandeur. Even the most basic room type is quite spacious, without feeling cramped. When checking in, the front desk gave me hotel cookies and a greeting card, making me feel the hotel's thoughtfulness. I liked the lighting and mirrors in the room, full of retro elegance. The bathroom is very large, and the water pressure is very strong, giving a slight massage sensation, perfect for soothing a body tired from a day's walk. ✊🏻Downsides- The check-in speed is indeed a bit slow, but it's understandable given the crowds. Here's a special tip: if you are an individual guest who has paid for your reservation, the staff will guide you to another lobby specifically for individual guests, which is less crowded and much faster for check-in. My room overlooked a large open space, and although I could see a bit of the sea view from the side, the overall view from the window was not very good, which was a bit of a pity. 💰Average Spending- July/August should be the peak tourist season, and the price per night should be around 2200, but compared to other options, this price is already quite affordable. If your trip is for shopping in Macao or to see a show at the Cotai Arena, Sheraton is a more wallet-friendly choice. 🥰Other Recommendations- I didn't book the hotel breakfast this time because I planned to eat at The Manor, located inside The Londoner Macao. Its full English breakfast is worth a try, with generous portions, well-balanced nutrition, and very tasty toast! The hotel's own restaurant is decorated in a Southeast Asian style, very beautiful. If you go before 8:30 am, it's not crowded, and you can enjoy a lovely breakfast in a beautiful setting. If it were up to me, this place would definitely make the list.
