Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth Geopark - Mauritius

#hellohalloween The Chamarel waterfall, at 100 m the highest of Mauritius 🇲🇺 and the 7 colored earths are located in a beautiful national park. You drive through by car. Admission for 2 persons + car about 24 €. The paths are extremely well maintained and everywhere are signs with explanations. You first stop in a parking lot at Chamarel Waterfall and then walk a few steps. The waterfall is opposite. Unfortunately, you can't get closer either. However, you can look at the waterfall at several viewpoints. I would have liked to walk the approximately 1 km long path to the 7 colored earth. Too bad that there is no hiking trail there, you would have to go directly along the road. So drive and stop at the next parking lot. We really liked the really nice circular route around the 7 colored earths! You have beautiful perspectives on the great colors from all sides. In between drinks in the café upstairs and the circular route again opposite. There is also an enclosure where "normal" and also giant turtles are located. We found the enclosures sufficiently large and they also offered enough shade places as well as "bathing areas". I was quite enthusiastic about this visit. The 7 colored earths with the beautiful green of the trees 👍 The signage, the cafe and the sanitary facilities, top
