The spectacular Li Zicheng's palace

Mizhi is famous not only for its aunts and millet, but also for the famous peasant uprising leader Li Zicheng. Li Zicheng's palace in Mizhi is a major tourist highlight, located at the southern foot of Panlong Mountain north of Mizhi County. It was built in the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty (1643 AD) and is a relatively complete architectural group of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the northwest region. The entire building is built according to the mountain, solemn and majestic, looking far away like a giant dragon flying, majestic and spectacular.
