Ancient city walls

#croatianislands The ancient city walls of Dubrovnik are a series of defensive stone walls that have protected the city since the Middle Ages. These walls are about 6,360 feet (1,940 meters) long and include towers, turrets, and gates. Walking along the walls offers stunning views of the city and the Adriatic Sea. They are one of the best-preserved fortification systems in Europe.
