Nordic Stockholm - The Ultimate Babysitter's Guide

Leaving Prague, we embarked on our journey to Stockholm. 🏨 Hotel: This time we stayed at the Hilton Slussen Hotel in Stockholm, the location is really awesome! Convenient to go anywhere 👍 The corner room's window overlooks the charming old town scenery, waking up every day is full of happiness. 🏰 On our anniversary, we even received a surprise champagne 🥂 The lounge's meal times don't have a lot of meat options, but there's an abundance of drinks, but it's very noisy during meal times!!! 🏞️ Attractions: Strolling in Stockholm's old town is a pleasure. The colorful houses, charming shops, and those cute little trinkets just keep us going. Sweden's design is something to talk about, many design-savvy home stores, especially the little horse pattern designs. We also caught the changing of the guard ceremony at the Stockholm Royal Palace, which was bustling with people but added a bit of fun. The date we went coincided with Stockholm Design Week, so we took the opportunity to check it out 🍽️ Food Recommendations: We went to a Taiwanese hot pot restaurant called FORMOSA, which was quite delicious, with an average cost of about 100 per person - Pelikan: The meatballs and mashed potatoes at this century-old restaurant are a perfect match, each bite is full of happiness. - Kajsas Fisk: The best fish soup in Skansen, fresh and tempting, makes you want to taste it more. - Mr.Cake: The red velvet series of desserts are truly delicious, especially the red velvet croissant, with a superb texture! 🚢 Museum Exploration: We visited the Vasa Shipwreck Museum, which houses the world's only intact 17th-century warship, an awe-inspiring sight. Even more surprising was catching the only Chinese movie commentary at noon every day 📅 Transportation and Tips: - Airport transportation: Take the number 40 train directly to the city center, very convenient, no need to worry about transfers. - City transportation: Use the SL app to buy a pass, which can save a lot of transportation costs. Stockholm is very card-friendly, but don't bring dual-currency cards, bring a single-currency card with a chip, Visa or Mastercard. - Stockholm can be quite cold during the Spring Festival, remember to add more clothing. - Buy souvenirs at Stockholm City Hall, you can find cute little crystal balls!
