The pampas grass by the Red Bridge in Meishan, Beilun, becomes the gentlest scenery of autumn. 💫 Many people mistake it for reeds, but it is actually authentic pampas grass. 👉 Fun facts: 1️⃣ Although both belong to the Poaceae family, pampas grass grows in clusters, while reeds grow individually. 2️⃣ Pampas grass flowers are more elegant and fluffy, whereas reed flowers are finer. 3️⃣ Pampas grass flowers can be divided into male and female flowers. Female flowers are silvery white, while male flowers are larger and have a panicle inflorescence. September to October is the best time to admire them.
