Brisk walking along Shichahai scenic area was an excellent way to explore its beautiful scenery. The area features well-maintained, partially paved loop paths around the three interconnected lakes and some restaurants and street foods. I stayed at a hotel around Shichahai then took a 10 minute walk, passed by Beijing Gulou then to reach Shichahai Lake. This Shichahai lake is located in Beijing's Dongcheng District and it is close to other attractions like the Beijing Gulou or Drum Tower, Yandai Xiejie street and crossing a rtoad opposite the lake you can walk another 10 to 15 minutes to go to Nanluoguxiang street. There's many local tourist dressing up in Chinese tradition costume to snap beautiful photo at this spot too. This lake is worth visiting as you can cover 4 tourist spots at the same time. This entire area is extremely convenient as there are a shopping mall, restaurant, street food, art and souvenirs around these 4 places mentioned here. #travel #beijing #shichahaipark #lake #shopping #food
