It was so exciting! I swam with the whale sharks.

There is also a famous whale shark spot in Cebu where you have a 99% chance of encountering one. I had heard that whale sharks don't eat humans, but when I actually saw one, I was surprised at how huge it was. It is located in Oslob, a four-hour drive from Cebu City. Whale sharks can only be seen early in the morning, so I left my hotel in Cebu City at 4am and joined the tour. I arrived in Oslob at dawn and it was time to start whale shark watching! I was able to swim freely for about 30 minutes and see a whale shark right in front of me!! I highly recommend it. #0yentravelFebruary2025
