Penelles Street Art

Penelles is a small village in Catalonia, Spain, known for its murals and the Gargar project. The Gargar Festival, officially named "Gargar Festival de Murals i d'Art Rural," was born from the determination to add a distinguishing value to the village and give visibility to street art in public rural areas. It is an open and popular festival, which will be held during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May 2025 in Penelles with works on 900m2 of walls. The festival has turned Penelles into a national reference for Street Art, where artists from all over the world paint the walls of the houses. #penelles
