Phra Nang Phaya is a baked clay amulet that combines Sukhothai and Ayutthaya styles. The amulet is triangular in shape with a prominent chest and graceful arms resembling a woman’s, hence the name “Nang Phaya.” She is also nicknamed the “Queen of Amulets,” a highly valuable amulet and one of the Benjapakee set. It is believed that whoever possesses Phra Nang Phaya will inspire those under their rule to revere her like she did. At present, amulets are considered very rare.
