Solo travel

🌷The places I went alone include: Seoul, Chiang Mai, Bali, not many, but they are all classic tourist cities. From the beginning of worry, to the middle of some - the most exciting part of solo travel should be in complete freedom and complete unknown. Accepting these, the journey always has wonderful surprises beyond expectations. No matter where you go, safety is the most important issue. Even though I love traveling alone, I am always troubled by this issue before every trip. My idea is that classic travel destinations, especially those that have been developed for a long time, have relatively mature facilities, with direct flights, large ride-hailing apps, or relay services that can be booked on platforms like Ctrip. It is relatively convenient and safe for solo travelers. 🌷Transportation: Classic travel cities are mostly directly accessible by plane, and airport transportation is relatively convenient. Big cities have subways or airport buses, and Chiang Mai and Bali can also be accessed by taxi apps. After getting on the car, send the itinerary to parents or friends, and also inform them when getting off. Although some places may actually be more expensive to use taxi apps, I call this obtaining the driver's real-name authentication information. For daily transportation, I prioritize subway or direct buses. If neither is available or not direct, I will basically take a taxi. In places where motorcycles are available, I tend to choose motorcycles personally because they are not enclosed environments. However, in terms of traffic safety, motorcycles are definitely walking traffic bombs. If there are pedestrians, I will also prioritize choosing a car. 🌷Accommodation: hotels in city center or scenic areas. For example, stay in Gangnam District in Seoul, Old City in Chiang Mai, Siam in Bangkok, and Kuta in Bali. Almost no activities are arranged at night, and if there are any, they will be dining and shopping near the city center, and will not go to places with few people and relatively dark. 🌷Eating: If you want to go to a restaurant you crave for alone, don't be afraid to ask for a table for one. In my experience, there aren't really that many restaurants that require a minimum of two people. If you can't finish all the food you want to try, it's a matter of mindset. I usually choose the top two dishes I want to try and see how much they serve. If it's a lot, I'll just stick to those two. If it's not enough, I'll add other dishes I want to try. If it's really good, I'll make time to go back to the restaurant later in my trip. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to go to so many restaurants just for the sake of checking in. My goal is to try delicious local food in big cities. Whether it's from one restaurant or several doesn't matter to me. When I was in Bali, I went to the same restaurant for dinner two days in a row and ordered different dishes each time. The waiter took beautiful photos for me each time, and the experience itself was very enjoyable.
