You have to stay at this homestay countless times when you come to Weihai!!! Watch the sunrise and sunset!

Family, this time I brought the kids to Jinshiyu Sea View Homestay in Jinshi Bay, Rongcheng, Weihai. I really regret not discovering it earlier! Step outside and it's the sea 🌊 Open the window to see the sunrise and sunset 🌅 Who understands, this is the ultimate family trip confirmed! (Below are my hard-earned tips 👇) 🏠 Homestay Highlights: • 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: Right in the prime spot of Jinshi Bay Scenic Area! No. 1780 Huanhai Road, the location is perfect. The Bruce Wreck and Shendiao Mountain Zoo are a 15-minute drive, and you can also visit Motianling Cableway on the way, no need to tire out the kids. • 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌: We stayed in the 270° sea view room. The kids screamed with joy as soon as they saw the floor-to-ceiling windows! Plus, it’s fully equipped with a projector and charging stations. At night, the whole family lying in bed watching cartoons was super cozy (the key point is the bathroom’s hot water is incredibly strong, bathing the kids was no trouble for mom). • 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄: The owner is like a walking guidebook! Helped us book tide-pooling tools, hand-drew a low tide schedule, and even proactively shared hidden info like “which place has the most authentic sea cucumber rice”… definitely one of China’s top 10 homestay hosts! 📸 Photo Tips: 1️⃣ Sunrise Silhouette: Rush to the terrace at 5:20 to shoot against the light (the homestay provides straw hats and baskets as props) 2️⃣ Tide Pooling Shots: Borrow colorful buckets and shovels from the owner, crouch low to capture the kids digging clams 3️⃣ Sunset Glow: Use a phone stand on the bay window for time-lapse photography, your social feed instantly looks like National Geographic ⚠️ Hard-earned Tips: 1. Book the “Sea View Terrace Room” at least 1 month in advance! We booked last minute and only got a side sea view room, so we had to walk 200 meters to the beach to watch the sunrise (luckily the beach was quiet and easy to shoot) 2. Pet families rejoice! They even have dog beds ready, but we forgot the dog’s certificate… luckily the owner was flexible (saved us big time) 3. Few restaurants nearby, highly recommend the homestay’s seafood hotpot set! 158 RMB per serving with live shrimp and abalone, way more honest than the tourist trap restaurants 💡 Fun Facts: • Hidden Perk: Stay 3 nights and get free pick-up service (we saved 80 RMB taxi fare from Rongcheng Station) • Safety Tip: Remember to ask the owner for a non-slip mat in the bathroom!
