Mystical Saint Petersburg

Saint Petersburg is an enchanting city in Russia that is known for its striking Imperial Russian architecture. The city ressembles many of the great cultural cities of Western Europe and you might even think you're there at times. The city is lined with monuments and churches and the insides are an absolute work of art. At the center of these attractions is the beautiful Winter Palace, which was the former imperial residence of the Tsars. The square outside it is also vast and engraved in history. Nearby you can stroll among the river, offering spectacular views of the city. The city is lovely to visit in summer when the temperature is comfortable and the days are long. However I also recommend going in winter. Although the days are short and it's cold, it really adds for a more mysterious and interesting allure to the city. The city also has a host of delicious restaurants which offer Russian cuisine at quite affordable prices. Saint Petersburg is a great city full of things to discover, especially in winter the city is very lovely and mysterious.
