Icon of San Francisco - Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is a red-orange suspension bridge which is also the icon of San Francisco which can be seen from afar. The famous bridge stretches 1.7 miles connecting the city of San Francisco to the small town of Sausalito. We opted to explore the bridge by foot starting from the downtown in San Francisco. Along the way, you can also explore other interesting areas such as the Fisherman’s Wharf, the park, etc. Truly, exploring by foot is a great way to experience the city and of course, the bridge too (no doubt the walk can also be long or tiring, but just take it easy and relax walk). One can see the engineering structure up close and enjoying the panoramic views of San Francisco as well as the sunny yet windy walk (just prepare a cardigan as standby). There are also some bicycles sharing the same path as pedestrians, so just be careful when walking.
