Greece Itinerary｜18,000 RMB Budget for Athens/Zakynthos/Santorini Special Forces

Sorry for not updating for over half a month due to writing a manuscript, and thank you to my 166 friends who have been following me! Taking a breather to pop up for a bit. In this note, I will share a minute-by-minute 8-day itinerary and expenses for Athens, Zakynthos, and Santorini (see p2 for data saving tips), with an average cost of 18,000 RMB per person. You can save even more if you buy plane tickets earlier! Hope this helps those in need. Below is my detailed account + expenses, save it and copy the plan!✨ Day 1-2 Athens * Depart from Xiaoshan Airport at 12:30 → direct flight to Athens at 13:30 - Due to a heavy rain forecast for the next day, we scheduled most activities on the first day. On the first afternoon, we visited the Temple of Hephaestus (the only temple with a roof), Panathenaic Stadium, and climbed Mount Lycabettus to watch the sunset. The second day focused on the Acropolis: Parthenon, Erechtheion, etc., got soaked by the rain. Flew directly to Zakynthos at night. Day 3-4 Zakynthos The waves were huge on the first day! No sea outing, did a car tour around the southern peninsula. The second day went to Navagio Beach (the filming location of "Descendants of the Sun"!) + Blue Caves boat tour, joined a small group, had a super fulfilling 6-hour trip. Flew back to Athens at night. Day 5-7 Santorini Took the Blue Star ferry to Santorini (cheaper than flying and you can watch the sunrise at sea). The second day visited Oia town for sunset, shopped in Fira, and took photos at Red Beach. Day 8 Return to Athens, shopping at the airport before flying back. 💰 Expense Details * Transportation: about 12,765 RMB (round-trip Hangzhou-Athens 10,116 RMB + Zakynthos-Athens 1,423 RMB, Athens-Santorini ferry 385 RMB, Santorini-Athens 841 RMB). * Hotels: about 2,667 RMB. * Local transport/small tours: about 1,200 RMB (including Navagio Bay small group 1,423 RMB, Zakynthos-Santorini ferry tickets, etc.). * Food and drinks: about 2,000 RMB. * Others: miscellaneous transport fees, attraction tickets. 💡 Practical Tips 1. Transportation: Athens metro is convenient, Zakynthos is recommended to join tours (Navagio Bay can only be reached by boat), renting a car in Santorini offers more freedom. 2. Time arrangement: October weather is cool and less crowded! Visit the Acropolis in the morning, Navagio Bay in the afternoon for better lighting.
