SHOULD YOU VISIT GILI TRAWANGAN?🇮🇩

Gili Trawangan has been my favourite place in Indonesia so far. Almost every day here, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of swimming with the turtles. It still blows our mind that the turtles are almost always there and you can just rock up on the beach to have some of the best experiences of your life - for free! The island is so small (we bicycled around the entire coast in an hour!) and there are no motor vehicles at all on the island. Instead, people opt for bicycles & (unfortunately) horses. This really heightens the feeling of ‘the island life’🌴 From Gili T, you can do snorkelling trips and trips to the neighbouring islands of Gili Air & Gili Meno. And, although we have heard very bad things about the ferries to Gili T, our ferry (we went with Eka Jaya) was less than an hour & super smooth!
