The Xya Hotel embodies multiple elements of an urban resort hotel

My last visit to this hotel was in 2017, back when it was still called the Hongqiao Meliá Hotel, and now it has been rebranded as the Xya Hotel. Seven years have passed, and the hotel's various facilities have been very well maintained. From the fifth-floor room, the view is excellent. The hotel has thoughtfully set up a children's playground in its small garden and the corners of the restaurant. I heard there's even a pet-friendly room! It's a bit regrettable that I forgot to bring my swimsuit; seeing others working up a sweat in the gym, I definitely won't miss it next time and will also enjoy a Spa session to relax. The hotel is located in the greater Hongqiao area, right next to Xiadu Town. Moreover, it is very close to Hongqiao Airport train station and the exhibition center. It's an excellent choice for business travelers as well. For lunch, I must praise the all-you-can-eat Hong Kong-style dim sum set meal on the second floor of the hotel, priced at 158 yuan per person. My friends and I ordered a table full of various classic Hong Kong-style dim sums. In the afternoon, it took just about ten minutes by car to get to the newly popular Panlong Tiandi near the hotel, a great place for shopping and leisure. I'm glad I made the wise decision to avoid the holiday peak and spent a delightful weekend here with my besties.
