The year 2023 marks the 155th anniversary of Cai Yuanpei's birth. His hometown is Shaoxing, and this library is a unique way to commemorate him. Unfortunately, we arrived late and the library closed at four in the afternoon, so we could only take a quick look and didn't have time to understand the whole picture. But even so, the library's water courtyard, mirror surface, photo wall, landscape wall, etc. have already amazed people. It has the charm of I.M. Pei's Suzhou Museum, and the library presents the oriental cultural aesthetic of 'using walls as paper and stones as paintings'. The library square has also become another landmark building in Shaoxing.
