Xia Tai Village Viewing Platform | Crying while driving

On the way to Shexian County, I navigated directly to the nearby highly-rated Xia Tai Village Viewing Platform. As I drove, I realized that this viewing platform was different from what I had imagined. The road was narrow with many sharp turns, and what I hated the most were the steep slopes, which looked to be more than 60 degrees. My parents in the car were terrified, and I drove in silence without a peep. Thankfully, it was the off-season, so there wasn't much oncoming traffic; otherwise, I would have cried 😭 After descending the mountain, I met a local driver who said that people usually find a local driver to drive them up the mountain once they get to the base, as it's indeed difficult to drive, especially since I chose a route with more steep slopes. It seems that self-driving routes will punish anyone who doesn't plan ahead. I strongly advise against inexperienced drivers going up the mountain by themselves❗️ The Xia Tai Village Viewing Platform is at an altitude of 400-500 meters, which is not very high, but the scenery is truly breathtaking❗️ With layers of mountains, varying shades of green forests, winding turquoise streams, and hidden uninhabited villages, the spontaneously surging sea of clouds and the warm sunshine give a feeling of sudden enlightenment. It seems that this is the best reward for the perilous journey. This is a viewing spot that will not disappoint, instantly evoking a sense of the grandeur of mountains and rivers, the difficulty of the journey, and the sentiment that every moment in life should not be wasted.
