Sri Thep Historical Park

#GetDiscountWithoutLuck SiThep Historical Park is located in Si Thep District, Phetchabun Province. It is one of the 10 important historical parks in Thailand. It was established by the Fine Arts Department in 1984. It has now been registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO on September 19, 2023, making it the 7th World Heritage Site in Thailand. Si Thep Historical Park is a place to learn about Dvaravati-Khmer art and civilization that is highly complete. It indicates the evolution of ancient cities in Thailand. It is outstanding in terms of architecture, trade, and beliefs. Si Thep is not only an opportunity to visit, but also a cultural lesson that should be preserved. There are important historical sites in the entire area of the ancient city, approximately 2,889 rai (4.7 sq. km.), divided into: Inner City (1,300 rai) is almost round, surrounded by a moat and embankment, with 6 city gates, and more than 40 historical sites that have been renovated, such as Khao Khlang Nai, Prang Song Phi Nong, and Prang Si Thep Outer City (1,589 rai) is rectangular.
