Uncovering the Southern Islands

Other than hiking/trekking in Singapore’s mainland, Pulau Ubin and Sentosa. There are 3 Islands open to public via public ferries from Marina South Pier. St John Island, Lazarus Island and Kusu Island. Kusu Island not surprise spot to Taoist/ Buddhist community in Singapore because of its pilgrimage activity annually held there. There is hawker centre in Kusu Island but they only turn up once a year for extra information. For St John island, prolly those who went for school camps may have come before for camping. Lazarus island is linked to St John island, the link path is known to Anglers fishing there. Private yacht usually also stop at the sea bay for water activities. Note: Do bring enough water and food to consume when going to the Southern Islands as there are no stalls in the islands, be a responsible person and do keep the area clean after consuming food and drinks !
