Steakville + night snacks

Location: Sunshine Plaza, 91 Bencoolen Street don’t be fooled by the old architecture, within are many good restaurants! Kim acrostic feel online and decided to give it a try. The place was not hard to find and it was near one of the entrances of sunshine Plaza. We ordered a steak platter which consist of steak that was dry aged in sunflower oil for 2 weeks, American Ribeye and the Australian Hanger all for SGD $91! Not only was it yummy but the price range for the meats were affordable! The American ribeye and the Australian hanger were so juicy and flavourful. This is also my first time trying dry aged steak and I was mind blown by the amount of flavour that could’ve been in the state for two weeks of dry Aging. I am not a connoisseur but this made me interested to try other dry aged steaks. Recommendations are welcomed!!!  We also ordered Crispy Skin salmon alongside Yeh steak. Hallelujah! the salmon was cooked perfect!! soft on the inside but skin is a nice crisp! to be honest, I am a person who is afraid of ordering salmon in restaurants outside because they would usually serve overcooked salmon… BUT this place is not one of them! Wanted to try their Wagyu but unfortunately they were out of stock… for drinks, I had a Japanese cocktail. at first I was very hesitant to order it  because the drink seems like it would be too sweet or too sour for my taste. But surprisingly, it wasn’t! I wouldn’t use the word die looted but it was mixed just right for me, flavourful but not strong. I felt like it acted as a great palate cleanser for every time I wanted to try a different type of beef out of the platter. This whole meal was definitely a good mix of sweet and savoury. what’s great after this feeling meal is since we are in one of Singapore‘s well known art school locations, there are art works and galleries nearby to walk and digest the food! After that, we headed to Northpoint to enjoy the night market. There are many traditional foods as well as modern ones being sold there and I highly encourage everyone to visit it before it closes down. Yes it maybe in an old location for tourists, but where is the fun if you do not explore? Give it a try! :) #mustdo #mustvisit #foodie #steakhouse
