Suwatu by Mil & Bay — Is This Yogyakarta’s Famous Hilltop View Restaurant Worth It?

#springitinerary We booked a table in advance on Instagram for Tuesday evening at 6 PM, since most shops and attractions in Yogyakarta are closed on Mondays. We rode motorbikes up the mountain, and I have to say, be very careful riding at night on those winding roads! When we arrived, there weren’t many people. There are two seating options priced at 75k IDR and 125k IDR — we chose the 75k one, which was more than enough. The night view was nice, but honestly, I think it would be much better during the day. The staff were attentive and friendly, which was a plus. But the food? Honestly, it was just okay — nothing special. So if you’re planning a trip just for the food, I’d say it’s not really worth it.
