Switzerland | A valley town listed as a world natural heritage site.

Science time: Lauterbrunnen is a small town in the Interlaken-Oberhasli district of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. It is located to the west of the Jungfrau region and has as many as 72 waterfalls pouring down from the valley cliffs. Therefore, the German translation of Lauterbrunnen is actually "loud spring" (Laut-Brunnen). This town is truly a waterfall town, but I prefer to call it a "fairytale town". The town is hidden in a valley, and at the end of the valley are layers of snow-capped mountains, including the famous Jungfrau. There is a popular hiking trail here, which is said to lead all the way to the back of the waterfall, similar to a water curtain cave. If time allows, it is strongly recommended to stay here for two days, one day for climbing Shao Nv Peak and one day for visiting Waterfall Town. Among them, Staubbach Falls is the iconic landscape of the town. The magical land in the movie "The Lord of the Rings", Rivendell, was created based on this small town, with mountains, waterfalls, villages, and snow-capped mountains.
