A must visit guide for a day trip to Tromso through the winter

Definitely visit the view point which over looks Tromso. There you have not only a great view over the city but also a great chance of seeing the northern lights. You can get your tickets for the cable car online. However we got our tickets at the tourist information and we got a discount. Furthermore there is a wonderful cafe at the top of the viewpoint with great hot chocolate and mulled wine. The arctic cathedral is another must visit. It isn’t so far from the town center. I recommend buying a day pad for the local bus to get round the city quicker and it is very reasonably priced (I think it was around €12 for a day ticket).#tromso #northernlights
