Jining | Dushan is suitable for a weekend day trip

After wandering around the vicinity on the weekend, it takes about an hour and twenty minutes to drive from Zoucheng in Jining to Weishan County in Jining. ⚠️: Friends who are driving and using navigation! Set your destination to Dushan, or Dudong Village, or Dushan Village Party and Mass Service Center. There is a free parking lot 🅿️. Park here and walk upwards, and you can reach the top in about twenty minutes. For those who don't want to walk up, you can navigate to Chaoyang Cave Taoist Temple, where you can drive directly to the top of the mountain ⛰️. The scenery is super nice on a sunny day, very healing. It is suggested that friends with average driving skills park their cars in the village at the foot of the mountain and walk up, as the roads on the mountain are too narrow, with one-way traffic, making it difficult to pass other cars, see picture. ⚠️: Do not navigate to Dushan Island Eco-Resort! There's nothing there! 🎫: The scenic area is open for free, no tickets required. The mountain is not high, and many people bring their children to play. Pets are not restricted from entering the scenic area, and you will meet many cute dogs along the way. On the mountain road, there are uncles and aunts asking if you want to take a boat, which are probably their own fishing boats. We get seasick so we didn't ask for the price. 🍚Regarding food, there are many restaurants in the village, run by the villagers, mainly serving fish. However, today many people were queuing, with many places having a queue of eight or nine tables, not sure if it's because of the weekend. The aunties and uncles in the village are very enthusiastic. While resting and enjoying the view halfway up the mountain, we met an uncle who has been living on the mountain. He was very enthusiastic, constantly helping us with directions, telling us which way to go. This really touched me. I enjoy listening to the older generation talk about their daily lives, listening to him tell his life story. When I think back on this place in the future, I will remember this grandfather first. Each small courtyard on the mountain is a residence of the villagers, having such beautiful scenery right outside their doors is truly healing 🌈. It's so comfortable, it's a pity we didn't wait until the evening sunset before returning, the scenery must have been beautiful.
