Qingchuan Pavilion

Located on Turtle Hill on the west bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, Qingchuan Pavilion was built and named after a poem by Cui Hao, just like the Yellow Crane Tower. The Yellow Crane Tower that stands today was built by modern people and is far from its original location by the river; Qingchuan Pavilion is an ancient architectural complex built during the Ming and Qing dynasties, overlooking the Yangtze River for three hundred years. Many of its pavilions and terraces are historical relics, and the Yuji Imperial Palace has been announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Qingchuan Pavilion is located on Yugong Rock at the eastern foot of Turtle Hill in Hanyang, north of the Han River, east of the Yangtze River, facing the Yellow Crane Tower across the river. It is a famous historical site that combines cultural relics and ancient architecture with garden scenery. Attractions include Yuji Imperial Palace, Qingchuan Pavilion, Iron Gate Pass, Yu Stele Pavilion, Chaozong Pavilion, Chubo Pavilion, Jingchu Xiongfeng Stele, Poetry Stele Corridor, Shangao Shuichang Stele, Yugong Rock, and Bixi Stele.
