[Andaz Xiamen] A Nanyang-style Garden in the City

Andaz Xiamen is a traditional and modern Nanyang-style masterpiece created by Jaya. It wasn't until I stayed in the Executive Suite that I realized this is a very Jaya-style room. Unlike the passionate red of the basic suite, the Executive Suite is much more stable, presenting a very traditional Nanyang mansion, with carvings and rattan weaving running through the living room to the bedroom. More attention is paid to details than the basic suite, and the details such as lighting and artwork are well done. The public area is laid out with a hollow lobby and curved corridors, decorated with tall green plants and rich artworks, creating a tropical Nanyang-style urban vacation feeling. The all-day dining restaurant "No. 101" is a Fujian cuisine restaurant run by a Cantonese chef, which lives up to the reputation of the Hyatt restaurant, but the breakfast is a bit simple, and the happy hour is much less than when it opened four years ago, which is a world of difference from Andaz Shenzhen Bay.
