Magnificent blue emerald jade liquid in Zao

Mount Zao is an active volcano that straddles the border of Miyagi and Yamagata Prefectures. At a towering 1,841 meters, it is one of Tohoku’s tallest mountains. A stunning crater lake lies at its summit. The crater is called Okama due to its resemblance to a large cooking pot. When we reached the Okama Observatory, the fog covered the entire surface.Hubby said it was impossible to see anything. Oh no, our man drove hours for days! The fog remained when we climbed to the top.Always hopeful as I prayed.... Guess what? The fog dissipated rapidly as we climbed.
