Yixian Nanping Village

Nanping Nanping Village, about ten kilometers away from Hongcun. The film 'Ju Dou', directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Gong Li, was shot here in the 80s, and 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' was also filmed here, but now there are not many traces of the film city in the village. In the off-season afternoon, I was the only tourist. There is a large open field between the ticket inspection entrance and the entrance to the village, which looks sparse and desolate under the winter sky. Along the stone path in the field, through the stone bridge at the end of the road, you officially enter the village.
