Most authentic old town in Hangzhou

I was indeed surprised to see that it’s still a living area with lots of people living in those houses with such a traditional Chinese architecture. I love Chinese old towns but often get disappointed at how bits of culture are thrown into a highly commercial environment. I’m glad that Xixing isn’t like this at all 👌🏼 There are a few typical Chinese grocery stores and restaurants. This place embraces the slow life pace and feels quite calm amidst the bustling big city life.
